롯데호텔 서울이 오는 6월 27일까지 자개 아티스트 류지안 작가의 기획 전시 ‘온 더 패스 오브 타임(On the Path of Time)’을 진행합니다.

류 작가는 자개를 매개로 자연-인공, 전통-현대 등 대비되는 것들을 공존시키며 새로운 이미지를 제시하고 다양한 기법과 장르를 통해 자개의 빛을 표현하는 아티스트로서, 이번 조 바이든 대통령 내한 시, 국빈 선물로도 전해진 것으로 알려져 이목을 집중시키기도 했습니다.

롯데호텔 서울은 앞으로도 호텔을 대표하는 공간에 한국 작가의 작품을 지속적으로 전시하며 고객들에게 풍부한 예술적 경험을 제공할 예정입니다.

Ryu is an artist who skillfully combines contrasting elements like natural and artificial, traditional and modern, using mother-of-pearl as a medium. Through various techniques and genres, she expresses the radiant light of mother-of-pearl. Ryu gained attention and recognition for her work when it was revealed that a state guest gift was presented during President Joe Biden‘s trip to Korea.
