영화 ‘공조2: 인터내셔날’은 영화 ‘공조’의 후속작으로 잔혹하고 치밀한 범죄 조직을 쫓아 남에 파견된 북한 형사 ‘림철령’과 광수대 복귀를 위해 파트너를 자청한 남한 형사 ‘강진태’, 여기에 미국 FBI 소속 ‘잭’까지, 각자의 목적으로 뭉친 남북미 형사들의 예측불허 글로벌 공조 수사를 그린 영화다.
